Visit Frequency
Your initial psychiatric evaluation is your first visit covered under your plan.

Follow-up visits are scheduled based on your individual needs and treatment plan.

A follow-up visit is typically recommended when:
• 2–4 weeks have passed after your initial evaluation
• A medication has been adjusted or a new medication has been started. typically within 2 weeks
• Symptoms worsen or require closer monitoring, which may include weekly visits

More Frequent Visits May Be Required:
Monthly visits are required if you are considering or currently taking certain medications, including:

• Stimulants (e.g., Vyvanse, Adderall, Ritalin, modafinil)
• Anxiolytics /benzodiazepines (e.g., Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin, Valium)

Scheduling Your Visits
You may schedule visits covered under your plan based on your needs or clinical recommendations.

• Visits can be spaced weekly, biweekly, or monthly, depending on your plan and treatment goals
• Once all included visits are used, additional visits are paid at the time of service
• Additional visits are offered at a discounted rate
• Unused visits do not roll over and are not refundable

Plan Changes & Renewals
You may switch to a different plan:

• Before your initial visit
• At your annual renewal
• If you plan to use your insurance**
